About Us

SEO (Sponsors for Educational Opportunity) was founded by Michael Osheowitz in 1963 as a mentoring program designed to help students with limited access to higher education gain admission to competitive colleges and universities. As SEO grew, we launched specialized professional programs to help students beyond the college admissions process. In 1984, we launched SEO Law to expose talented aspiring law students to corporate law and create pathways for success in the legal profession.

Since then, we’ve developed a suite of programs and events to support aspiring law students throughout their journey—from the application process to thriving in law school:

  • The SEO Law Fellowship
  • SEO Law Catalyst
  • The SEO Law Scholarships
  • Law School Application Webinar Series
  • Career Coaching Series
