Endowments & Foundations Fellowship

Curious about a career in investment management? Do you want to learn more about asset allocation, portfolio management, manager selection, and/or how to allocate capital on behalf of institutional investors? Are you interested in a rewarding career where you will learn about various asset classes across alternative investments? All of this can be achieved while supporting great causes like a foundation’s philanthropic programs or a university’s operating budget. If you’ve answered “yes” to any of these questions, you’ve come to the right place!

What is an E&F?

E&Fs are institutional asset managers that manage billions of dollars, serving their charitable mission.

  • Endowments benefit academic institutions, hospitals, etc.
  • Foundations support grantmaking aligned with their specific mission; there’s a wide range of charitable activities supported by Foundations.

How it Works

SEO has a long track-record of success in closing opportunity gaps in the alternatives space. The E&F Fellowship program will build on the suite of programs we have in place today, providing an opportunity to learn about investment concepts related to endowment management, exposure to Limited Partners, and personalized mentoring/coaching.

SEO Alternative Investments’ E&F Fellowship program will host a series of events designed to create awareness into the untapped industry, focusing on providing connections, resources, and networking opportunities with E&F institutions. Through our Fellowship, you’ll gain the understanding and preparation needed to successfully compete for E&F analyst/associate roles.
