The SEO Alternative Investments Alpha Academy is designed to prepare professionals for investment roles in the long only and hedge fund industry.

What is the purpose of Alpha Academy?

The SEO Alternative Investments Alpha Academy was built on the success of the Alternative Investments Fellowship Program (AFIP), with the goal of SEO Alternative Investments creating a pipeline of outstanding young professionals in the financial community to educate them about entering the long only and hedge fund industry as investment professionals.
What can I expect from the Alpha Academy?

The will be a series of events designed to create awareness and educate you about the long only and hedge fund industry. You’ll hear from partner firms about their culture, interview process, etc., attend panels with professionals working in the industry, have access to networking opportunities, gain resources for education, and more.
Is there a deadline to apply?

Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis.
Who should apply?
All who meet you meet the participant criteria are encouraged to apply, however, as the program evolves, there may be changes to the requirements.
- College senior at an accredited US university with a full-time job offer in finance
OR
- Relevant professional experience:
  - Investment banking
  - Buyside experience (private equity, long only, hedge fund, venture capital)
  - Sell-side research
  - Management consulting
- Open to SEO alumni and non-alumni
- Open to MBA and non-MBA candidates
