Welcome to College, High School Scholars Class of 2019!

On Saturday, May 18, SEO Scholars hosted their second annual Welcome Day for the High School Class of 2019, who are transitioning from High School to College!

Welcome Day is the official passing of the baton from the SEO Scholars High School team to the SEO Scholars College team. Welcome Day gives us the opportunity to celebrate the astounding accomplishments of the Scholars’ past four years, and get excited for the next four years because the SEO Scholars program does not stop with college admission — the program sees them through college graduation, with a 90% graduation rate.

This year, we were pleased to welcome 181 SEO Scholars to college. Welcome Day 2019 was comprised of reflections from classmates, creation of school pennants, the opportunity to network and ming with current SEO College Scholars, and a celebratory photoshoot on an NYC rooftop.

Congratulations, SEO Scholars High School Class of 2019, we can’t wait to see all that you accomplish over the next four years!
