SEO Career is a free program that helps Black, Hispanic and Native American students secure internships with partner organizations, and gives them the best chance to land a return offer.

Go from Campus to Career with SEO.

Here’s how it works:

Career Edge: Land an Internship

  • Industry exposure to SEO partners – more than a foot in the door
  • Coaches who are invested in student’s success
  • Mock-interviews prepare students for what interviews are really like in their desired fields
  • Hand-selected industry resources and a custom training curriculum

It’s not just about putting the opportunity in front of the student but training the student to excel and seize that opportunity.

Fellows who perform well and complete Career Edge are recommended to our partners for internship opportunities.

But no matter where their path leads, Edge sets students up for internship success.

Only fellows who have completed the SEO Career Edge stage AND have accepted internships with SEO partners are eligible to move onto the next level of the program—Success.

Students are immersed in a deep dive intensive training before their internship begins, ensuring they learn real skills from industry experts. Success Interns are supported throughout their internship with:

  • One-on-one coaching includes guidance through internship and offer
  • 8-12 week online technical and soft skills training: how to conduct yourself, network, write an email, deal with senior leaders, etc.
  • Transformational exclusive one-week orientation & training Summit in NYC

At SEO Career, students are propelled forward. It’s more than an internship. Students meet like-minded individuals who also want more, want success and want to be the best they can be. Learn about our internship opportunities.

"With SEO, they showed me the ropes. They went above and beyond to provide me with mentors who cared; with the soft-skills that helped me set my work apart; and with the confidence to be my best self when I walked into the room."
