The SEO Judicial Clerkship Program is open to all SEO Corporate Law
alumni who are in their first year of law school. Since the program’s inception, a
select number of alumni have had an opportunity to work as judicial clerks for the
United States District Court Judges in the Southern District of New York.
This clerkship gives our alumni a valuable opportunity to establish contacts
and relationships with distinguished members of the federal judiciary, and
gain significant legal research and writing experience. SEO is pleased to
continue its partnership with the federal judiciary,
and offer this important program in 2008.
The Summer 2008 Judicial Clerkship Program will last for approximately ten weeks.
SEO judicial clerks will receive a stipend totaling $6,000 for this ten-week period.
Please note that clerking for a Judge in the Southern District of New York is a unique
and challenging opportunity; therefore, SEO advises all applicants to seriously
consider their interest and commitment prior to applying. SEO also encourages
prospective applicants to speak with alumni of this program and get feedback
concerning their clerkship experiences.
