Become a Fundraising "Advocate"
Help build support and awareness of the SEO Scholars Program's work to close the achievement gap and prepare New York City public high school students for competitive college admissions and success!  Take a leadership role in targeting, communicating with and soliciting potential donors at different levels.  A few new alumni-led initiatives are under development, including a web-based campaign to spread excitement and support via social networks.

As seen in recent applicant numbers, there are many more highly motivated and qualified students who could increase their chances for lifetime success through the Scholars Program.  With SEO's goal to double the number of students served by the program, this is a great time for alumni to leverage their networks, creativity and passion to help SEO achieve its goals and make a difference in the lives of many young people.


Co-Chair Your SEO Class 5-Year or 10-Year Anniversary
Work with a small team of alumni to mark your SEO class 5-year or 10-year anniversary.  This includes a class gift initiative, reunion event and general outreach to gather information on what people are up to and update them on new developments at SEO.  SEO staff will work with class co-chairs to provide contact information, a class anniversary web page and other material support.
