The Finance & Management Fast Track

Our program places interns in a 10-week paid internship at one of our industry-leading global partners: AXA Equitable, EMC2, Cardinal Health, IBM, Johnson & Johnson, MMC (Marsh & McLennan Companies), Moody's and Xerox. Career opportunities abound within these select global companies for talented, motivated individuals with leadership potential.

During your CFL internship, you will gain valuable skills and make significant contributions to the business in one of many areas.  Examples include:

  • Finance: financial planning and analysis, pricing, internal audit, treasury, business strategy, global tax, business development (M&A), and more
  • Accounting
  • Marketing, Human Resources and IT
  • Retirement Consulting (Actuary), Risk Analysis (Insurance) and Research (litigation support)

Interns are entrusted with critical responsibilities such as analyzing financial, market or competitive data and presenting your recommendations; conducting product/brand revenue analysis; or assisting in strategy reviews.  Or perhaps you will be assigned to a global team, and asked to do breakthrough thinking and solve real business issues.  The opportunities are endless.

To ensure you are better prepared than your competition, your CFL experience includes extensive training, mentoring and networking opportunities that distinguish this internship from all others.  Our interns:

- Undergo between 75-100 hours of  training (on-line and in-person) before the internship begins

- Participate in the CFL Institute, the exclusive week-long leadership development seminar held in NY prior to the beginning of the internship.  This includes CEO and CFO roundtables, executive presentations on areas such as leadership and strategy, and a mini-MBA session.  Click here to view the 2010 Institute Agenda.

- Interact with top executives of our partner companies through roundtable and networking events, in addition to internship assignments.

- Benefit from mentoring through-out the program by numerous mentors, including mentors with significant corporate experience.  You will have an unbelievable support system.
